WELCOME
This is the heart of my documentary journey, a space for stories of birth, women, and midwives from around the world. As you scroll, you’ll discover the vision behind the project, my personal journey, and ways to join and support along the way.
The Vision

Born to Rise began from a simple truth:
women’s voices deserve to be heard, especially when it comes to birth and the bodies we live in.
Around the world, birth is treated as a medical event, but it’s also something far greater then that:
it’s shaped by our culture, it's social, political, and deeply human.
The way a society welcomes new life and treats the people carrying it, shows what it values, who it protects and who it leaves behind.
Through film, photography, and conversation, Born to Rise follows the stories of women, midwives, doctors, activists and communities across different cultures in different countries.
I travel to listen, to witness, to document and to share, not to compare, not to divide, but to connect.
Because no matter where we come from,
we all enter this world in the same way.
And one day, we all leave it the same.
What lies between those two moments
how we care, how we include, how we love,
is what defines us.
I believe that stories can shift something.
That when we see each other more clearly, we remember what we share.
Born to Rise is a call to listen
to the women who carry life, to the hands that are there to catch it,
to the voices that have been missing for far too long.
Across borders.
Across cultures.
Across everything that tries to separate us.
Because in the end, we’re all part of the same story.
Let's rise together.

Support me
Born to Rise is a self-funded project from the heart.
Every kilometer I travel, every interview I film, every story I’m trusted with, it all happens because people like you believe in this work.
Your support helps me cover travel and filming costs, visiting rural areas, working with local guides and translators, and create a safe space for women to share their experiences.
Thank you for standing with me.
For believing in this project.
And for helping these stories find their way into the world.
